CITL Ambassador Kiri Gurd will lead a workshop called: "Liberatory Pedagogy: Problems and Promises," in which she notes the paradigm shift to liberatory pedagogy from a more hierarchical transfer of knowledge that has dominated education and what it means for us as teachers, what it (can) look/s like in the classroom, and some of the difficulties/contradictions one confronts at multiple levels.
