Dual Enrollment for BAA Students
The ProArts Consortium Dual Enrollment Program is offered to Boston Arts Academy students who, along with their high school counselors and faculty, believe they are prepared for the challenge of college coursework and are considering attending one of the ProArts member schools in the future.
Dual enrollment is offered on a seat-available basis for selected courses. Participating students earn credits that meet the requirements for high school graduation and may potentially be transferred to higher education institutions. The tuition costs will be absorbed by the ProArts colleges, but BAA students are responsible for the cost of additional materials and lab fees.

About Dual Enrollment
Who Should Apply?
Currently enrolled Boston Arts Academy students who demonstrate, by carrying at least a “B” average in high school, the ability to succeed in college level coursework can apply to take courses that fall outside the established curriculum at the BAA.
How to Apply
1) Complete the Dual Enrollment online application before the deadline. A link to the application is provided at the top of this page. Included with the application is a one page essay describing your interest in Dual Enrollment and how you think this opportunity will enhance your learning experience.
2) Students who are accepted into the program must complete a Parent/Guardian permission form, an enrollment form, and a Dual Enrollment Student Contract.
Attendance & Workload
Students are expected to attend all classes and are responsible for completing all assignments in their courses. More than two absences may result in a failing grade.
Awarding of High School Credit
Boston Arts Academy will determine and clarify to its participating students the manner in which course credit taken will apply to the high school diploma requirements.
Awarding of College Credit
Participation in the Dual Enrollment Program does not guarantee admission to a particular ProArts college’s degree program. Credits earned through Dual Enrollment may often be transferred to a college through the standard admission process. Students who wish to apply credit earned through Dual Enrollment to an institution other than the college at which they have taken the courses are advised to consult with the admission office of that institution.
