Our Mission

The Professional Arts Consortium (ProArts) is an association of neighboring Boston institutions of higher education dedicated to the visual and performing arts. Its members are: Berklee, Boston Architectural College, Emerson College, New England Conservatory, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.

The mission of ProArts is to cultivate collaboration that has the capacity to strengthen the educational purposes of its member institutions and to take a leadership role in promoting the vital and central value of the arts and arts education in Boston and beyond. 

What we provide

• Cross-registration privileges for students, faculty, and staff.

• Events catered to fostering collaboration and innovation with the goal of building community across our member institutions.

• Resource sharing, including access to libraries of the member schools.
